Dr. Ajanta Dutt is Professor of English in a college of Delhi University. She received her doctorate from Rutgers, State University of New Jersey, USA. While teaching there, she edited 'Landscapes and Languages' for the ESL Writing Programme. Her texts on Tagore's novel,Home and the World and a selection of post colonial poets were taught in Delhi University. She writes, edits and translates scholarly articles, fiction and poetry.
Dr. Tapti Roy is a historian and a memoir consultant. She edits and runs the story blog www.pastconnect.net. Her books include, ‘The Politics of a Popular Uprising-Bundelkhand in 1857,’ ‘Raj of the Rani,’ and ‘Print and Publishing in Colonial Bengal: The Journey of Bidyasundar.’ Her field of experience and expertise is History and Biography. She edited ‘Flashback: Objects, Memories and the Art of Storytelling,’ a collection of family stories. She holds a Ph.D in History from University of Kolkata.
Dr. Joyshree Roy has worked as an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of History in an undergraduate college under Calcutta University. She also briefly taught a special paper as a Guest Lecturer in the Department of History, Calcutta University. Joyshree has published articles and has presented papers at conferences. Her article 'Contextualizing Anton Chekov in the Critical Traditions of his Time' was published in 'Image of the Region in Eurasian Studies' edited by Suchandana Chatterjee. Another essay 'Did Human Rights Exist in Pre-Colonial India? A Probe into the Medieval Indian Paradigm' has been published in Ajanta Paul ed. The Rite of Wrongs: Human Rights in India. Tapti Roy edited 'Flashback: Objects, Memories and the Art of Storytelling' included her recollections entitled ‘Gazing at the Past: A Not So Unusual Family Story’.
